CBS's THE TALK Up 8% in Viewers & Key Demos

CBS's two daytime dramas, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, both posted week-to-week growth in viewers, women 25-54 and women 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week of April 25.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS was up +4% in viewers (4.88m from 4.70m), +7% in women 25-54 (1.5 from 1.4) and +11% in women 25-54 (1.0 from 0.9).

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL notched gains of +2% in viewers (3.83m from 3.75m), +8% in women 25-54 (1.4 from 1.3) and +13% in women 18-49 (0.9 from 0.8).

THE TALK was up +8% in viewers (2.98m from 2.76m), +11% in women 25-54 (1.0 from 0.9) and +17% in women 18-49 (0.7 from 0.6), best in each of these measures since the week of Feb. 19.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT and LET'S MAKE A DEAL also posted weekly growth in viewers.

About THE TALK: CBS's Daytime Emmy Award-nominated talk show THE TALK features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities discussing current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, cooking demos with celebrity chefs as well as real-world advice and tips from leading experts in fitness, diet, health, home, relationships, finance and fashion. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.
