CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD posted double-digit year-to-year percentage increases in adults 25-54 and viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for August 30. CBS SUNDAY MORNING remained the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54 and viewers.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.51 million viewers and a 1.3/08 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +30% in adults 25-54 (from 1.0/06) and up +15% in viewers (from 4.78m).

Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +1% in viewers (5.86m from 5.80m) compared to last year.

Sunday's broadcast featured Martha Teichner's look at the city of New Orleans 10 years after Hurricane Katrina; Lee Cowan's interview with former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz Cheney; Conor Knighton's report on the elegant wooden boats of a bygone era; Mark Phillips' profile of actor and CBS's THE LATE LATE SHOW host James Corden; Michelle Miller's interview with New Orleans chef John Besh; Steve Hartman's report on a man trying to rebuild the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans; and pianist and composer Chad Lawson's first-person look into crafting music.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
