CBS SUNDAY MORNING Finishes 2014-15 TV Year with Largest Viewer Delivery Since 1987

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD finished the 2014-2015 television years with its largest viewer delivery since the 1987 advent of people meters, and as the #1 Sunday Morning news broadcast with viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen most current ratings. It was the third consecutive TV year that CBS SUNDAY MORNING has posted record audience delivery.

For the 2014-2015 television season, CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.84 million viewers (up from 5.81m when compared to last year) and a 1.3/07 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING ended the TV year on Sept. 20, 2015 by delivering 5.23 million viewers and a 1.0/06 with adults 25-54, according Nielsen live plus same day ratings. The broadcast featured Tracy Smith's report on the allegations against Bill Cosby and what life is like for his accusers; Anthony Mason's conversation with The Eagles' singer-songwriter, Don Henley; Jane Pauley's profile of Oscar-winning documentarian Alex Gibney; Martha Teichner's preview of Pope Francis' trip to the United States; Jim Gaffigan's essay on the Pope; Bill Geist's story about a club for washing machine collectors; and Steve Hartman's interview with a 10-year-old boy who bakes cookies to raise money to support police.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
