Quote of the Day: A word from birthday girl Laura Bell Bundy...

"You know, I had the music baskets and the writing basket. And I had the acting. And those eggs just hatched first, and the others were slow to incubate."
-- Laura Bell Bundy (via BrainyQuote)

What we're looking forward to listening to: The FRANK WILDHORN & FRIENDS live album, featuring Jeremy Jordan, Laura Osnes and more -- out this June!

Video of the Day: Check out highlights from Michael John LaChiusa's RAIN, starring Eden Espinosa at The Old Globe!

And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Laura Bell Bundy, who turns 35 on Sunday!

Bundy made her Broadway debut as 'Amber Von Tussle' in HAIRSPRAY and went on to appear as 'Glinda' in WICKED and 'Elle Woods' in LEGALLY BLONDE -- the latter for which she was nominated for a Tony in 2007. She also took the stage in the original off-Broadway production of RUTHLESS! and starred in GYPSY at Paper Mill and ROCK OF AGES in Los Angeles. The actress appeared in HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and played 'Dr. Jordan Denby' on the TV series ANGER MANAGEMENT, later starring in the series TO APPOMATTOX, HART OF DIXIE and, most recently, the short-lived ANGEL FROM HELL. Bundy is also a country singer with two albums; her single "Giddy On Up" received CMT and ACA nominations.
