MIKE DAISEY: GREAT MEN OF GENIUS

Thursdays, January 15 & February 5 at 7:00PM

Tuesdays, January 20 & 27 at 7:00PM

$30

Mike Daisey presents a dazzling work: four "bio-logues" about megalomania and desire constructed from the interleaved life stories of four insane geniuses: P.T. Barnum (January 15), Bertolt Brecht (January 20), Nikola Tesla (January 27) and L. Ron Hubbard (February 5). Over four nights, Daisey explores the nature of genius and wrestles with the pride, insanity and chauvinism that bind these men together. By shining a light on these pivotal characters, Daisey reveals what the heights and depths of their gifts have to teach us about ourselves. Each evening is unique and can be viewed independently; yet, all four together form an epic oral accounting of triumph and folly told with Daisey's dark and hilarious intensity.

The band's vocal harmonies borrowed from contemporaries such as The Beatles, The Zombies, and other British Invasion groups. In 2004, Rolling Stone placed "Walk Away Renée" at #220 in its list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. The band currently features original founding member/songwritter George Cameron, and is frequently joined on stage with original keyboard/harpsichord player and songwriter, Michael Brown (Stories / Montage).

ALI GRIEB: SIN STOPS HERE

Sunday, January 25 at 9:30PM

$12

She saw the light, though, and it was at the bottom of a big bottle of champagne! So bottoms up, people! Be a witness as she hilariously recounts all of the ridiculously awkward moments that have gotten her to this point! Her magnetic charm and big band sound are that which were thought to be lost with the golden age. Take a trip back to a simpler time when the music was good, the drinks were strong, and the bad choices you made were just a vague memory from last night's binge! We may all be sinners now, but it stops here! Let's raise a glass (or a few) to getting saved!
