David Alan Grier
A master of all entertainment genres - theatre, television, film, radio - David Alan Grier is coming to the East End. From "In Living Color" on Fox to RACE on Broadway, Grier will now add Bay Street Theatre to his long list of credentials as he brings his stand-up comedy routine on Monday, July 19th at 8 PM.

After training in Shakespeare at the Yale School of Drama, Grier debuted on Broadway with a Tony nominated performance as Jackie Robinson in the musical THE FIRST. He continued onstage in the cast of DREAMGIRLS and A SOLDIER'S PLAY. Grier reprised his role opposite Denzel Washington in the film adaptation of A SOLDIER'S PLAY, "A Soldier's Story." Other film credits include "Dance Flick," "Jumanji," and "Stuart Little." Grier returned to the stage this year in a successful Broadway run of David Mamet's RACE which earned him his second Tony nomination.
