BATS Improv stages "Theatresports: Battle to Play LA!" on Friday nights, July 11, 18, and 25 at 8pm at the Bayfront Theater (B350 Fort Mason Center, San Francisco, CA 94123).

Theatresports is a fast-paced, exciting, and highly interactive night of improvised theatre complete with Olympic-style judges.

For this tournament, the BATS Main Stage Company has split into six teams, each team competing for the honor to represent San Francisco in the SF vs. LA Grudge Match in August. Every Friday in July, two teams will face off by performing a variety of scenes, games, and even musical numbers -- all completely improvised and all inspired by your suggestions! The team with the most points at the end of the match is declared the winner and moves one step closer to the Championship Match on July 25.

Public Information: Tickets are $17 general admission, $20 at the door, and are available through the BATS website www.improv.org or by phone (415) 474-6776. Email - bats@improv.org

Founded in 1986, BATS has become the premier improvisational performing company and improv training school in the Bay Area, attracting more than 12,000 audience members and 1,300 workshop enrollments every year. www.improv.org
