Ampersand! Returns to ComedySportz, Beginning Jan 4

ComedySportz, Houston's longest-running improv comedy show, is bringing back the popular adults-only improv show, Ampersand!, in January 2013. Entering its third year, Ampersand! is an original, long-form improvised production featuring select members of the ComedySportz troupe of actors. Ampersand! performs January through November each year, but because the show is all made up on the spot, it's never the same show twice.

Performances of Ampersand! will begin on Friday, January 4th at 10:30pm and continue every Friday evening in 2013 at the ComedySportz Arena, 901 Town & Country Blvd. (southeast corner of I-10 west and the Beltway).

Though performers from ComedySportz will be performing Ampersand!, they will be doing so without the ComedySportz referee or the Brown Bag Foul. For this reason, Ampersand! is appropriate only for those who are 17 and older.

Always family-friendly, fast-paced, and funny, ComedySportz is perfect for everything from a bachelorette party to your grandmother! ComedySportz performs for all ages at all types of venues, including schools, corporations and churches. Regular shows are held at the ComedySportz Arena every Friday at 8PM and Saturdays at 8PM and 10:30PM, plus a Kidz Matinee at 4pm on the first Saturday of the month. ComedySportz also produces improvisational comedy shows for adults only at 10:30pm Fridays.
