Over the weekend, Mohegan Sun hosted a wide selection of fun and entertainment. From live local bands to wild stand up comedy acts, the casino didn't disappoint its guests.

On Friday night, Whiskey Union captured the palates of many, with a massive tasting of both local and national whiskeys (including anything from Litchfield Distillery to Buffalo Trace) paired with southern-inspiRed Foods (mac n' cheese and gravy fries) served on a large buffet.

Throughout the event, the Connecticut-based Dizzy River Band performed live, belting out bluesy, folk and country-inspired tunes, including Chris Stapleton's popular ballad, "Tennessee Whiskey." Each guest of the tasting was also treated to a complimentary cigar to enjoy at their leisure.

Come Saturday evening, the award-winning comedian, Chris Rock made the crowd laugh in the casino's Arena, with a sold-out stand up performance of hilarious debauchery and risqué commentary.
