Biography
Tommy Igoe is considered one of the most exciting, prolific and inspiring musicians in the world today. While he has toured the world many times over as a sideman with numerous top-shelf talent, it's his own bands that are now getting full global attention.
He has two popular weekly event running on both coasts of the USA. The Tommy Igoe Big Band plays in San Francisco every Monday in the Rrazz Room. The Birdland Big Band plays every Friday at the Birdland Jazz Club in NYC.
The TI sextet is slated to perform again on the sold-out 2012 Jazz Cruise (www.thejazzcruise.com), and will appear at other events globally throughout 2012.
The new BBB CD, "Eleven", has been receiving 5 star reviews from major jazz publications from around the world.
