The Richmond Symphony Chorus Holds Auditions for New Members This Month

The Richmond Symphony Chorus will audition prospective new members at Epiphany Lutheran Church on two Tuesday evenings, today, June 23, and June 30, from 6:30 - 9:30pm. Visit www.rschorus.com/auditions to read about the Chorus and its audition process and access audition preparation materials. If you are interested in auditioning, you will be asked to complete and submit a short audition questionnaire and schedule an appointment.

The Chorus rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings at Richmond CenterStage from late August through May. Additional rehearsals take place during performance weeks.

This season, the Chorus joined the Richmond Symphony Orchestra in performances of Mahler's Symphony No. 2, the "Let It Snow" Christmas Pops concerts, Handel's Messiah, Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, and Borodin'sPolovtsian Dances. In addition, it collaborated with the Richmond Ballet on performances of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. The Chorus will perform Beethoven's Ninth Symphony as part of the Richmond Symphony's 2015-16 opening concerts in September.
