Resident conductor Francisco Noya will be on the podium at the Vets in Providence.

Discounts, available for families of four or more, are available by calling or visiting the Philharmonic Box Office at 667 Waterman Avenue in East Providence. Cirque de la Symphonie is an exciting adaptation of artistic performances widely seen in theaters and arenas everywhere. Artists include veterans of exceptional cirque programs throughout the world-aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers, balancers, and strongmen - and their artistry and aerial acrobatics will leave the audience breathless. Performers include world record holders, gold-medal winners of international competitions, Olympians and some of the most original talent ever seen.

For its part, the Philharmonic presents some of classical music's most popular and exciting works, by the most revered composers. Included on the program are fan favorites such as "Les Toreadors" from Bizet's Carmen, Offenbach's "Can Can," the Overture to Candide by Leonard Bernstein, Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, and "Flight to Neverland" from the movie Hook by John Williams.

Cirque de la Symphonie is sure to dazzle the eye AND the ear. The artists' performances are choreographed to the live orchestral music and are uniquely adapted to a stage shared with the orchestra. The show has been hit everywhere it goes - the Portland Press Herald called Cirque de la Symphonie "colossal and stupendous... it brought the house down!" and the San Francisco Examiner proclaimed the show "a crowd pleasing joy to behold!"

Conductor Francisco Noya said, "We are very excited to present Cirque again in Providence. Orchestras across the country rave about the amazing skills of the performers and how much the audience loves them. This concert will be fantastic for everyone in the family, and we look forward to a very full house!"
