Steve Martin to Join LA Phil for 2014 July 4th Fireworks Spectacular at the Hollywood Bowl, This Week

Iconic comedian and Grammy award-winning musician Steve Martin brings his banjo virtuosity and love of bluegrass for three performances with the Steep Canyon Rangers featuring Edie Brickell, to join the Los Angeles Philharmonic for the Hollywood Bowl July 4th Fireworks Spectacular, Wednesday through Friday, July 2 - 4, 2014, at 7:30 pm.

This celebration offers the incredible outdoor setting of the Bowl, patriotic music from the LA Phil, bluegrass favorites performed by Martin, and a spectacular fireworks display. Considered one of Southern California's top Independence Day pyrotechnic displays, the annual July 4th Fireworks Spectacular at the Bowl has become a local family tradition.

Children ages 12 and under get in for half price.

Steve Martin and the STEEP CANYON RANGERS, featuring EDIE BRICKELL with LOS ANGELES PHILHARMONIC and John Morris RUSSELL, conductor will perform on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 7:30 PM; Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 7:30 PM; Friday, July 4, 2014, at 7:30 PM THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL, 2301 N Highland Ave, Los Angeles, Calif.

Tickets for the Hollywood Bowl 2014 summer season will be available at HollywoodBowl.com or via credit card order at 323.850.2000 on the following dates:

Subscription online renewals are available November 4, 2013.

Subscription mail renewals are available November 14, 2013.

New subscriptions and group sales will be available beginning February 4, 2014.

"Five or More" subscriptions will be available on March 18, 2014.

The Hollywood Bowl box office opens for single ticket sales in early May 2014.
