What's on the menu? SHUFFLE Concert, a dynamic six member ensemble, gives audience members numbered menus of music ranging from Baroque and Classical to Broadway and Pop, from Jazz and Americana to Latin, French and Jewish Music. If your number is called, then you choose what SHUFFLE will play next. SHUFFLE brings their unique programming, inspired by the shuffle feature of an MP3 player, and considerable talent to the Cooperstown Summer Music Festival on Saturday, August 15 at 11 am for a Family Concert, and Sunday, August 16 at 7:30 pm.

Each of SHUFFLE's members is an accomplished chamber musician; they are graduates of such schools as Juilliard, New England Conservatory, Oberlin, Manhattan School of Music and Bard College. Ariadne Greif, soprano; Brendan Speltz, violin; Sofia Nowik, cello; Moran Katz, clarinet; Elian Avni, piano; and Hassan Anderson, oboe have each won numerous prizes and have performed extensively as soloists and collaborative musicians throughout the world.

For the August 15 Family Concert, composers from Handel to Stravinsky and songwriters from Gershwin to Bjork are categorized in kid-friendly groups, like marching music, magical music, "really old" music, Americana, funny music, and dances. Depending on the audience members' choices, the concert might also feature music from Candide, The Sound of Music, or The Wizard of Oz.

Both concerts will be held at the Otesaga Resort Hotel, 60 Lake Street in Cooperstown. The Family Concert will be in the Hotel's Templeton Lounge, the Evening Concert in the Hotel Ballroom.

Tickets for the Family Concert are $5 per person, or $15 for a family ticket that provides admission for up to two adults and their children. Tickets for the Evening Concert are $25 for adults, $15 for students. Purchase online, www.cooperstownmusicfest.org; by phone through Brown Paper Tickets, 800/838-3006, or at the door.
