The Richmond County Orchestra (RCO) wraps up the holiday season with a "Winter Wonderland " celebration in song and dance tonight, December 13, 8 p.m. at St. John's University, 300 Howard Avenue, Staten Island .The performance features local talent Joshua Limage from Wagner College Theatre singing "O Holy Night" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". Also, Brian Moses,12, a student at Our Lady of Good Council School, an outstanding young piano student of Richmond County Orchestra's Maestro Alan Aurelia plays Mozart's "Turkish March". The RCO will also play several Holiday Favorites for audienceto sing along with..

Students of Dragon Kim's Karate USA performs "Sarajevo 12/24" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Lydia's School of Dance perform excerpts from the Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky as does The Westside Dance Project.

Maestro Aurelia said, "Most dance companies do not perform with a full orchestra. This is an opportunity for them to showcase their talent while accompanied by our orchestra," and added, "The RCO is more than happy to provide these local dance companies with a live orchestra."

SANTA will be on hand to pose with kids for photos. We will also have a 50/50 and prizes and goodies for the children.

The concert is FREE for students and children. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Group rates are also available. For more information call the RCO at 718-876-7945.
