Mnozil Brass, one of the world's premiere brass ensembles, will perform at Libby Gardner Concert Hall on Sunday, October 18 at 6:30 PM. The concert is part of the Virtuoso Concert Series and the UtahPresents 2015-16 Season. Tickets are $25, with a $5 ticket for U of U students and a $10 ticket for non-U students and youth 18 and under, and are available at 801-581-7100 or utahpresents.org.

High school musicians from area schools will be performing a prelude to the performance on October 18. The group, called President's Circle Brass and led by Dr. Seretta Hart of the U's School of Music, includes students from Bountiful, Park City, Maple Mountain, Riverton, and American Fork high schools. In addition to participating in the public performance, the students are also involved in master classes and chamber music coaching with the Mnozil Brass musicians.

With over 130 performances a year, Mnozil Brass has sold out houses from the farthest reaches of the European continent to Russia, Israel, China, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, Canada, and the United States, and has captivated audiences with their blend of immense virtuosity and theatrical wit. Their videos have garnered millions of YouTube views and their fans have travelled countless miles to hear them play.

Yes! Yes! Yes!, the brand new show premiering on this tour, comes on the heels of the group's 20th anniversary and seamlessly blends original compositions with classical favorites, jazz standards, and popular hits. As always, the repertoire is presented with the group's iconic humour and wit in scenes so clever that they would be worthy of Monty Python.
