Enjoy some of the "greatest hits" of Mercury's fifteen-year history as the orchestra performs its first set of Neighborhood Series concerts October 17 through 24. Featuring "Summer" from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, Mozart's instantly recognizable Eine kleine Nachtmusik and more. It's an irresistible lineup of some of your favorite works in your favorite venues - the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (October 17, 7 PM), Dosey Doe's Big Barn (October 18, 7 PM) and Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church (October 24, 2:30 PM).

And new this year, Mercury is thrilled to add Houston's bustling Midtown to our schedule with a performance at the brand new MATCH Center (3400 Main St) on October 22 at 8 PM. MATCH offers an exciting new destination for the performing and visual arts and will be a wonderful addition to Mercury's roster of intimate and casual Neighborhood venues. Mercury's 15th Anniversary Season, with concerts downtown and across Houston, features a diverse repertoire from the Baroque era and beyond. Special events for the year include, Handel's complete Messiah, Bach's Orchestral Suites led by acclaimed conductor Harry Bicket during the Houston Early Music Festival in February, and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in May. Each concert -- performed on period instruments -- promises to be a dynamic and engaging experience.
