Mario Kreutzberger Returns to U.S. Hispanic TV with ROSTROS DE LA FRONTERA, 7/24

Mario Kreutzberger, better known as Don Francisco, returns to millions of U.S. Hispanic households with ROSTROS DE LA FRONTERA (Faces of the Border), a news special airing on Telemundo this Sunday, July 24 at 9pm/8c. Don Francisco traveled to San Diego, California, and Tijuana, Mexico with a production crew to spend a week with the people who have lived the day-to-day reality of the wall that divides Mexico and United States. "Rostros de la Frontera" will feature the special appearance from Carolina Miranda, Luis Ernesto Franco, Michel Duval and Mauricio Henao, who are part of the cast of "Señora Acero 3: La Coyote, and who will interact with Don Francisco, as well as with the real-life protagonists of these stories, and how they relate to their respective characters in the Super Series.

The one-hour special that took place at the International Friendship Park in San Diego and Tijuana, travels around the beach area on both sides of the border, interviewing individuals who visit this park every day for different reasons. Viewers will witness dramatic testimonies from undocumented and deported individuals, victims of violence, desperate cries from kids and abandoned mothers, or people mutilated after falling off the train known as "La Bestia" (The Beast), revealing the reality that goes beyond the imaginable. The special will also present couples that live love between the barriers by just touching with their fingertips, families that have learned to live with one parent on the other side of the border, or religious and weddings events separated by the wall, surrounded by dozens of cameras and agents from the border patrol.
