Marc Anthony, Prince Royce & More to Perform on 2014 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS

The biggest-selling salsa artist of all time, Marc Anthony, Bachata singer and returning coach on Telemundo's La Voz Kids, Prince Royce; and this year's Billboard Hall of Fame Award recipient, Franco de Vita, join the constellation of stars previously announced to perform at the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm® that includes Andrea Bocelli, Laura Pausini, Ricky Martin, David Bisbal, Juanes, Luis Fonsi, La Arrolladora Banda El Limon De Rene Camacho, and Banda El Recodo De Cruz Lizárraga.

The longest-running and most prestigious Latin music awards show will be produced and broadcast live by Telemundo, Thursday, April 24 at 7pm/6c from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Florida. Last year, 15-time finalist Marc Anthony selected the Billboard Latin Music Awards stage for the worldwide premiere of "Vivir Mi Vida," which spent 17 weeks at the top of the Hot Latin Songs chart and became his eighth No.1 hit. The biggest-selling salsa artist of all time, has reached the No. 1 spot on the Tropical Airplay chart 23 times, and has eight No. 1s on the Top Latin Albums chart. Currently on tour, Marc Anthony is not only enjoying one of the most successful years of his career, but on an equally impressive feat, he just inaugurated the Orfanato Niños de Cristo in La Romana, in the Dominican Republic. The new residence and learning center is the first orphanage to benefit from his Maestro Cares Foundation, and will be the new home for about 100 orphaned children.

Prince Royce, the returning coach on the second season of Telemundo's widely-popular singing competition "La Voz Kids," is a 16-time finalist this year with multiple songs and albums. The singer, songwriter and record producer, has four No. 1s on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. "Darte Un Beso," from his latest album "Soy El Mismo," was his longest-running No. 1, spending 14 weeks at the top, and the album became his third No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart.

Recently announced as the recipient of this year of the Billboard Hall of Fame Award, Pop/Rock singer, songwriter Franco de Vita will also come to the Billboard Latin Music Awards stage to perform. Franco de Vita has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, and has 11 top 10s and one No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. Most recently, "Te pienso sin querer" featuring Gloria Trevi peaked at No. 17 on Latin Pop Airplay. Franco de Vita has also composed hit songs for other artists, such as Chayanne's "Contra vientos y mareas," "Y tú te vas," "Un siglo sin ti;" Ricky Martin's "A medio vivir," "Vuelve" and, "Tal vez"; among others. The collaborative works have sold more than 30 million albums around the world.

These musical acts join an already impressive list of previously announced performers at the upcoming 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards that include: 2014 Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award honoree Andrea Bocelli, Global Pop music star Laura Pausini, International superstar Ricky Martin, Spanish Pop singer David Bisbal, Colombian singer and songwriter Juanes, The Voice of Pop Luis Fonsi, legendary Mexican music band La Arrolladora Banda El Limon De Rene Camacho, and the "Mother of all bands" Banda El Recodo De Cruz Lizárraga.

The awards show culminates the Billboard Latin Music Conference presented by State Farm®, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2014. This conference, taking place on April 21 - 24 at the JW Marriot Marquis in Miami, Florida, unites today's top Latin music artists and key Latin music industry influencers for four days of provocative presentations, panel discussions, exclusive Q&A's with the hottest artists, compelling case studies, cutting-edge artist showcases, and exclusive networking events.
