Louisville Vocal Project to Perform Two Christmas Concerts, 12/7 & 9

The Louisville Vocal Project will present a program of music for Advent and Christmas at two locations. The Louisville Vocal Project specializes in renaissance sacred music and newly-composed works for a cappella choir. A variety of other styles are always included in their concerts. (*)

Concert I will be performed on Friday, December 7th at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (508 Breckinridge Lane).

Concert II takes place on Sunday, December 9th at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church (2000 Douglas Boulevard).

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door with cash or cards.

(*) Composers included in this program include: Allesandro Scarlatti, William Byrd, Benjamin Britten, Charles Ives, Felix Mendelssohn, Henry Lekberg, Leo Nestor, William Dawson, and new music by LVP composer-in-residence Richard Burchard. The Louisville Vocal Project is made up of local professional musicians and is led by Artist Director S. Timothy Glasscock.
