Kristin Chenoweth, Smokey Robinson & More Set for Utah Symphony's 2015 Deer Valley Music Festival Season

Utah Symphony | Utah Opera President & CEO Melia Tourangeau announced the Utah Symphony's 2015 summer concert season for the Deer Valley Music Festival in Park City, the summer home of the Utah Symphony. Highlights of the six-week music festival include Utah Symphony performances with Diana Krall, Kristin Chenoweth, Smokey Robinson, Ozomatli, Frank Sinatra, Jr., and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy; Disney's Fantasia: Live in Concert under the direction of esteemed film conductor Richard Kaufman; Vivaldi's Four Seasons with violinist / leader Aisslinn Nosky; Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with Gina Bachauer 2014 Competition Silver Medalist Chi Ho Han; and intimate chamber concerts featuring Utah Symphony ensembles performing at St. Mary's Church.

In addition to the 2015 Deer Valley Music Festival summer lineup, Utah Symphony also announced a special performance at Red Butte Gardens featuring string trio Time for Three with the Utah Symphony.The collaboration with Red Butte Gardens will be the first of many community performing arts collaborations as part of the Utah Symphony's 75th anniversary season, which officially launches in September 2015. The Orchestra will also feature vocalists from Utah Opera, dancers from Ballet West, actors from Utah Shakespeare Festival, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Utah Symphony Chorus and The Madeleine Choir School on Masterworks performances spread throughout the 2015-16 season. This performance is not part of the Deer Valley Music Festival or Red Butte Summer Outdoor Concert Series.

The twelfth annual Deer Valley Music Festival in Park City will launch on July 4, 2015 with a Patriotic Celebration featuring Broadway singers Beth Southard (Phantom of the Opera, Showboat) and Gary Mauer (Phantom of the Opera, LES MISERABLES). It will continue for six weeks with pops, classical, and chamber music concerts at Deer Valley Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater and St. Mary's Church.

Utah Symphony's new Associate Conductor Rei Hotoda, who begins her role in September 2015, will make her Utah Symphony debut as a conductor and pianist performing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major, K. 414 at the first chamber concert of the 2015 Deer Valley Music Festival season at St. Mary's Church on July 8, 2015.

Concert Ticket Information

Subscription, group, and VIP tickets for the Deer Valley Music Festival are on sale now. A local sale for residents of Summit and Wasatch Counties will take place on March 21, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Park City Utah Visitor Information Center (1794 Olympic Parkway, Park City, Utah). Concert tickets for the general public will go on sale on March 23 at 10 a.m. Lodging packages including tickets to performances will be available through lodging partners starting in May. VIP Events and Packages

VIP packages for both Friday and Saturday performances will continue at this year's festival and can include VIP parking, pre-concert gourmet dinner at the resort, premium reserved seating and access to the intermission reception. VIP package pricing includes a charitable contribution built into the various package options. Salon Events will also continue, featuring intimate performances in luxurious private residences by festival artists. Cost will be $125 per person.
