Julii Oh has been named Vice President, Marketing and Customer Experience, of the New York Philharmonic. Ms. Oh joined the New York Philharmonic as Associate Director of Marketing in 2004 and was promoted to Director of Marketing in 2008. She has been serving as Interim Vice President of Marketing since September 2015.

"Julii Oh has been key to the Marketing Department's many successes since joining our staff 12 years ago," said Bill Thomas, Senior Vice President of the Philharmonic. "In her time as Interim Vice President, not only has she continued to successfully oversee the Philharmonic's extensive marketing efforts, she has also played a leading role in brand positioning strategy and audience development initiatives. We know Julii will help continue to lead the Philharmonic in the right direction."

Julii Oh joined the New York Philharmonic after having served as marketing consultant to clients including MCA Universal Records (2002-04); marketing director at Wind-Up Records / Bertelsmann Distribution; and marketing director at Edel Records AG / R.E.D. Distribution, where she directed and managed the marketing efforts for all label releases. She has advised and instructed organizations including the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, NYU's Arts Administration program, and Belfast Digital DNA. During her 12 years at the New York Philharmonic Ms. Oh developed and advanced digital marketing strategy and analytics-driven efforts, and was critical to the creation of the Orchestra's social media presence, which is now the largest of any American orchestra.
