Carnegie Hall has announced its January 2014 calendar updates. Details below!

ENSEMBLE ACJW
Wednesday, January 9 at 8:00 p.m.
(Paul Hall, The Juilliard School)

In a free concert at The Juilliard School's Paul Hall, Ensemble ACJW, performs Ligeti's Ten Pieces for Wind Quintet; Debussy's Sonata for Flute, Viola, and Harp; Scriabin's Andante from Piano Sonata No. 4, Op. 30; and Fauré's Piano Quartet No. 1 in C Minor, Op. 15.

Monday, January 13 to Thursday, January 16

In celebration of renowned mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne's 80th birthday, Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute presents The Song Continues, an annual celebration of the art of the vocal recital. Events include:

AVI AVITAL
Friday, January 17 at 7:30 p.m.
(Weill Recital Hall)

PROGRAM UPDATE:
Mandolin player Avi Avital's piece Kedma replaces the piece Tre Fontane. The remainder of the program remains unchanged and includes works by J.S. Bach, Ernest Bloch, Yasuo Kuwahara, and Manuel De Falla, plus the New York premiere of David Bruce's Cymbeline. Mr. Avital is joined by harpist Sivan Magen and the Enso String Quartet.
