WHAT: The 125 members of the Houston Symphony Chorus, directed by Betsy Cook Weber, will shine on their own in this free concert of spirituals and classics by Handel, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Morten Lauridsen and more.

The chorus, comprised entirely of volunteers, is the official choral unit of the Houston Symphony and has performed under the direction of many internationally-acclaimed conductors. For this performance, Daryl Robinson will accompany the chorus on the organ and Scott Holshouser will be the pianist. There will be one intermission during the program.

The concert will take place at St. Luke's United Methodist Church at 3471 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77027 at 4 p.m. No tickets will be required to attend this concert and general admission seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.
