Glenview Trust 'Enriching Life' Series to Present Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Kentucky Center, Jan 14

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Pinchas Zukerman will perform on Tuesday, January 14, 7:30 p.m. at the Kentucky Center's Whitney Hall.

Acknowledged as one of the UK's most prestigious orchestras, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) enjoys an international reputation for bringing audiences worldwide first-class performances and the highest possible standards of music-making across a diverse range of musical repertoire.

Pinchas Zukerman is a world-renowned Israeli violinist, violist and conductor, and the Principal Guest Conductor for this performance with the RPO. He is considered one of the greatest violinists of the 20th and 21st centuries, and his ongoing 45-year career has seen him perform with the world's best-known orchestras and record over 100 works. Zukerman has held the position of Principal Conductor and Music Director of Ottawa's National Arts Centre Orchestra since April 1998, and the position of Principal Guest Conductor of the RPO since 2009.

J.S. Bach Violin Concerto in E major, BWV 1042

Beethoven Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67

Brahms Double Concerto in A minor, Op. 102
