Geoff Quaife was born in Melbourne, Australia. He has spent over 40 years in school and university teaching, historian work and academic administration. He has published on the sexual mores of the English peasantry and on the great witch hunts of early modern Europe. He is an admirer of Cromwell and his army and has spent much of his life studying 16 and 17th century Europe. He is author of the "Luke Tremayne" adventure series.
