GEMS Presents Kristina Giles and Marie Blair in Concert at St. Peter's Today

Kristina Giles and Marie Blair will bring their Baroque Favorites, presented by Gotham Early Music Scene (GEMS), today, January 24, 2013 at 1:15pm, to Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 619 Lexington Avenue (at 54th Street), New York, NY.

The concert will feature Kristina Giles on baroque violin and Marie Blair on harpsichord.

The pair joins forces for an afternoon of Baroque favorites for violin and harpsichord. This program will offer a little bit of everything, including Handel's elegant and virtuosic Sonata in A, Bach solo works for each instrument, and Corelli.

Midtown Concerts offers workers in midtown as well as the general public the opportunity to enjoy high-quality performances of music of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods in a convenient, comfortable, acoustically superb venue. Tickets are not necessary; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Free-will donations are gratefully accepted at the door.
