'Fiddler' Star Joins Cast of TV Land's YOUNGER for Season 3

Deadline reports that Ben Rappaport, currently starring in the Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF as 'Perchik', has been cast in a recurring role in the third season of TV Land's YOUNGER.

The actor will portray medical intern Max Horowitz, described as "a new love interest for Lauren Heller (Molly Bernard). Max and Lauren went to camp together as kids, and when they run into each other in a bar, they start to rekindle their friendship and develop into something more."

The 'Mr. Robot' star will first appear in the third episode of the new season, titled "Last Days of Books", airing Wednesday, October 12.

Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, and Peter Hermann return for the new season of YOUNGER, premiering Wednesday, September 28th.

Rappaport made his Broadway debut in Picnic with Ellen Burstyn, directed by Sam Gold. His Off-Broadway credits include: Sex Lives Of Our Parents (Second Stage),The Gingerbread House(Rattlestick/stageFARM). Regional: Alex Timbers' original production of Bloody BloodyAndrew Jackson (Williamstown Theatre Festival). On TV, Ben is best known as the star of the NBC series "Outsourced". He starred as Carey Zepps on "The Good Wife"(CBS) and Ollie Parker on "Mr. Robot"(USA). He has also appeared on "Elementary"(CBS). Film credits include: Hope Springs opposite Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones, and Steve Carell. The Brass Teapot, Stereotypically You (upcoming), and lead of the upcoming film Landing Up. Ben trained at Juilliard, where he received the Michel and Suria Saint-Denis Prize for Outstanding Achievement and Leadership in Drama.
