Ex-Rockette & Emmy Winner Jennifer Jiles Stars in Short Comedy MOTHER OF THE WEEK

Emmy Award-winner, 2X Best Actress winner, Ex-Rockette and real life Mom Jennifer Jiles wears many hats in the production of her multi-award winning short comedy MOTHER OF THE WEEK: co-writer, co-producer, casting director and lead actress.

And it's paid off as this relatable short film MOTHER OF THE WEEK gets accepted into two more festivals this September after a successful 9 festival run since last June. The awards include: BEST ACTRESS (Jennifer Jiles), BEST ENSEMBLE, BREAKOUT PERFORMANCE IN A SHORT (Jennifer Jiles), BEST COMEDY RUNNER UP, HONORABLE MENTION, AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD, and multiple nominations: BEST DIRECTOR (Lee Davis), BEST OF FESTIVAL, and BEST COMEDY.

MOTHER OF THE WEEK is the story of a stressed-out working Mom determined to be everything to everyone, no matter what the circumstances. Executive Produced by Mark Lobene, Directed by Lee Davis, and written by Jennifer Jiles and Frederick Stroppel, this film is for EveryMom and anyone who knows and loves her.

Stroppel, Lobene and Jiles have also written a TV series based on the film with the hopes of an Amazon series in 2017.
