For over a decade, the Christmas tour from THE BRIAN SETZER ORCHESTRA has become one of the most exciting annual rockin' Christmas events on the planet and the iconic guitarist, songwriter and vocalist BRIAN SETZER and his 18-piece THE BRIAN SETZER ORCHESTRA are bringing the Christmas Rocks Extravaganza to the State Theatre on Tuesday, December 2nd. The Record Company will open the show as special guests.

Show time is 7:00 PM. Tickets are $56 and $51 and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610-252-3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org.

Three-time Grammy-award-winner, Brian Setzer is a "Musician's Musician" credited with consistently taking chances with innovative and daring musical styles, while single-handedly resurrecting two forgotten genres of music (rockabilly in the '80's and swing in the '90's). Along the way he has scored chart-topping hits throughout his decorated career as founder/leader of the Stray Cats, his 18-piece Brian Setzer Orchestra, and as a solo artist.

Brian Setzer found tremendous success in redefining Christmas music for a generation desperately desiring something new and exciting around the holidays. The result was three best-selling holiday albums (Boogie Woogie Christmas, Dig That Crazy Christmas, Christmas Rocks!: The Best Of Collection) and an annual Christmas tour, now in it's 11th year, that The Los Angeles Times proclaims, "whose sheer joy is irresistible!"

This year, The Brian Setzer Orchestra will be joined by special guests The Record Company. In the short span of two years, The Record Company has gone from recording their junkiest instruments in the bass player's living room to playing with a diverse range of music's top acts including BB King, Buddy Guy, Charles Bradley, The Wood Brothers, Social Distortion, and Robert Randolph. The rock/roots/blues trio can best be described as a group giving a 21st century nod to a timeless art form.
