Broadway Pops International (BPI) presents PUT ON A HAPPY FACE™ A Tribute to Dick Van Dyke with the Danville Symphony Orchestra and conductor Jeremy Swerling. The concert will be presented in Mr. Van Dyke's hometown of Danville, IL on October 10th, 2015 at 7:30pm and will feature Gavin Lee (Mary Poppins, LES MISERABLES), Sean MacLaughlin (The Phantom of the Opera, Evita), and Sarah Pfisterer (The Phantom of the Opera, Show Boat). The concert will feature musical selections from Mr. Van Dyke's career, personal videos from Carol Burnett, Chita Rivera, and Julie Andrews, and other special surprises as a celebration of his 90th birthday.

Mr. Van Dyke is an American actor, comedian, writer, singer, dancer, and producer with a career spanning almost seven decades. He is the older brother of Jerry Van Dyke and father of Barry Van Dyke. Mr. Van Dyke starred in the films Bye Bye Birdie (as well as on Broadway), Mary Poppins, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and in the TV series The Dick Van Dyke Show and Diagnosis: Murder. He is a recipient of numerous awards in the entertainment industry, including five Emmys, a Tony, and a Grammy. In 1995, he was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. He received the Screen Actors Guild's highest honor, the SAG Life Achievement Award, in 2013. Mr. Van Dyke has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard.
