Apollo's Fire presents The Power of Love Passions of Handel & Vivaldi today, April 24-27, 2014 with Jeannette Sorrell, Music Director and Amanda Forsythe, soprano.

Hailed in Europe as "the discovery of the evening" (FINANCIAL TIMES), Amanda Forsythe is now a star of the international opera world. She returns to AF to traverse the lovesick pathos and fire of the baroque opera stage. Concertmaster Olivier Brault and cellist René Schiffer set sparks flying in Vivaldi concertos. This program tours to Europe following the local performances.

TICKETS for local performances start at $21 (student, senior, young adult, and group discounts available). Student tickets are free in Akron, made possible by the GAR Foundation.

Tickets are available through the Apollo's Fire box office at (216) 320-0012 or online at www.apollosfire.org.
