During the week of June 20, 2016, ABC delivered 8 of the week's Top 20 broadcast shows in Adults 18-49, placing 4 in the Top 10: "The Bachelorette" - No. 2, "The $100,000 Pyramid" - No. 5, "Celebrity Family Feud" - No. 7, "Match Game" - No. 9, "Celebrity Family Feud-6/23-R" - No. 13, while "Uncle Buck," "BattleBots" and "20/20" tied at No. 16. In addition, all 3 of its Sunday game show premieres and "The Bachelorette" landed among the week's Top 10 most watched TV programs overall: "The $100,000 Pyramid" - No. 3, "Celebrity Family Feud" - No. 4, "The Bachelorette" - No. 7 and "Match Game" - No. 8. ABC's "20/20" was the week's No. 1 newsmagazine with key Adults (AD18-49/AD25-54).

  • ABC's Total Viewer count surged 15% from the same week last year (4.5 million vs. 3.9 million on w/o 6/22/15).

Monday

ABC ran neck and neck with NBC for the Monday night lead among Total Viewers (5.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.6/6), while winning the night in Adults 18-34 and across all key Women.

  • ABC's "The Bachelorette" returned after the prior week's NBA preemption as Monday's No. 1 TV series for its 4th straight telecast in Adults 18-49 (2.1/8), topping NBC's "American Ninja Warrior" on the night (1.8/7). "The Bachelorette" was also Monday's most watched TV program overall.

"The Bachelorette" (8:00-10:01 p.m. - 7.1 million and 2.1/8 in AD18-49):

Ranking No. 1 in each half-hour in Adults 18-49 from 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "The Bachelorette" beat NBC's "American Ninja Warrior" head to head by 9% among Total Viewers (7.1 million vs. 6.5 million) and 17% among Adults 18-49 (2.1/8 vs. 1.8/7). "The Bachelorette" grew from its previous Monday telecast in Total Viewers (+3%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%) to set a new season highs in both measures. In addition, the ABC unscripted series built on its comparable telecast last season (on 6/8/15) by 9% in Total Viewers and 17% in Adults 18-49.

"Mistresses" (10:01-11:00 p.m. - 2.9 million and 0.7/3 in AD18-49):

At 10:00 p.m., "Mistresses" beat CBS' "Braindead" in the hour by 40% (0.7/3 vs. 0.5/2). "Mistresses" was up from its comparable year-ago Thursday telecast (0.6/3 - Episode 3 on 7/2/15 at 9:00 p.m.) by 17% in Adults 18-49.

Tuesday

"Uncle Buck" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.5 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49):

Coming out of repeat comedies and building 67% on its Adult 18-49 lead-in at 9:00 p.m., "Uncle Buck" moved ABC up to second place in its hour among the major nets to NBC's "America's Got Talent," more than doubling Fox's "Coupled" (+150% - 1.0/4 vs. 0.4/2). The ABC comedy gained 10% in young adults from its first half-hour to its second half-hour. "Uncle Buck" built 17% from last week's premiere among Teens 12-17.

  • "Uncle Buck" greatly improved its hour from the year-ago night with original programming (1st hour of "Extreme Weight Loss" on 6/23/15 = 2.2 million and 0.7/2) by 59% in Total Viewers and by 43% in Adults 18-49.

"To Tell The Truth" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 4.1 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49):

At 10:00 p.m., ABC's "To Tell The Truth" nearly tied CBS' "Person of Interest" finale and NBC's "America's Got Talent"-led "Maya & Marty" in Adults 18-49 (0.9/3 vs. 1.0/4), coming within 1-tenth of both shows. Like its lead-in, "To Tell The Truth" was up from its week-ago premiere in the hour by 14% in Teens 12-17.

  • "To Tell The Truth" boosted its hour for ABC from the same night last year (2nd hour of "Extreme Weight Loss" on 6/23/15 = 2.4 million and 0.7/2) by 71% in Total Viewers and by 29% in Adults 18-49.

Thursday

Editors Please Note: During its first season, ABC's "BattleBots" aired Sundays at 9:00 p.m. coming out of the high-rated "Celebrity Family Feud," which was the No. 1 new show last summer.

"BattleBots" (8:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.9 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49):

Leading off the night and gaining young adults from its first hour to second hour (+11%) from 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "BattleBots" was up over its most recent telecast during the May Sweep coming out of the season finale of "S.H.I.E.L.D." (2.0 million and 0.6/2 on 5/10/16) by 1.9 million viewers and by 67% in Adults 18-49.

  • Versus its original competition on the night, the season premiere of "BattleBots" was the No. 2 series in Adults 18-49 to CBS' Thursday premiere of "Big Brother," holding strong advantages over NBC's slot premiere of "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" (+25% - 0.8/3 at 9:00 p.m.) and "Aquarius" (+150% - 0.4/2 at 10:00 p.m.) as well as Fox's "Bones" (+11% - 0.9/4 at 8:00 p.m.) and "Home Free" (+100% - 0.5/2 at 9:00 p.m.).
  • "BattleBots" delivered strong time period improvement for ABC, topping original programming on the same night last year ("Astronaut Wives Club"/"Mistresses" on 6/25/15 = 0.8/3) by 25% in Adults 18-49. In fact, the ABC unscripted series delivered the Net's best non-sports summertime (Memorial Day-Labor Day) performance in the 2-hour slot in more than 1 year - since 5/28/15.

"Celebrity Family Feud-R" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 4.7 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49):

Ahead of its season 2 premiere on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. (on 6/26/16), a repeat "Celebrity Family Feud" built on its lead-in and won the 10 o'clock hour in Total Viewers (4.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.1/4).

Friday

ABC won Friday night among Adults 18-49 (0.9/4) and Adults 25-54 (1.2/5) with "20/20" finishing as the No. 1 TV show on both measures (1.0/4 and 1.4/5), respectively.

"20/20" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 5.2 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49):

In the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "20/20" surged week to week in Total Viewers (+30% - 5.2 million vs. 4.0 million), Adults 18-49 (+25% - 1.0/4 vs. 0.8/4) and Adults 25-54 (+17% - 1.4/5 vs. 1.2/4), marking its most watched telecast overall in 7 weeks - since 4/29/16.

Saturday

"20/20: In an Instant" (9:00-11:00 p.m. - 4.0 million and 0.7/3 in AD18-49):

More than doubling its lead-in at 9:00 p.m. and gaining audience throughout its 2-hour broadcast, ABC's "20/20: In an Instant" spiked over its week-ago season premiere by 1.1 million Total Viewers (4.0 million vs. 2.9 million) and double-digit percentages in Adults 18-49 (+40% - 0.7/3 vs. 0.5/2) and Adults 25-54 (+25% - 1.0/4 vs. 0.8/3).

  • Outdrawing sports programing on the other major nets, including NBC's "Olympic Trials," CBS' Boxing and Fox's MLB coverage, ABC's "In an Instant" stood as Saturday's most watched TV program overall.

Sunday

With a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" leading into its Sunday game show premieres against an "Olympic Trials"-boosted NBC, ABC won Sunday in Total Viewers (6.7 million) and took the major network lead among Adults 18-49 (1.3/5).

  • ABC's premiere of "The $100,000 Pyramid" (1.7/6) ranked as the Sunday's No. 1 broadcast series in Adults 18-49, while the premieres of "Celebrity Family Feud" (1.6/6) and "Match Game" (1.5/5) followed closely at No. 2 and No. 4, respectively. In addition, "The $100,000 Pyramid" (8.1 million) and "Celebrity Family Feud" (8.0 million) stood as Sunday's Top 2 most watched broadcast programs overall, respectively. ABC's "The $100,000 Pyramid" also represents the summer's No. 1 new show in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49.

"Celebrity Family Feud" (8:00-9:00 p.m. - 8.0 million and 1.6/6 in AD18-49):

Launching over its repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" lead-in at 8:00 p.m. (+100%/+167%) against NBC's "Olympic Trials" and CBS' "Big Brother" Sunday premiere, ABC's second season premiere of "Celebrity Family Feud" ranked No. 1 against its major network competition in its hour with Total Viewers (8.0 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.6/6-tie). The ABC game show built by double digits from its first half-hour to its second half-hour in Total Viewers (+11%) and Adults 18-49 (+13%).

"The $100,000 Pyramid" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 8.1 million and 1.7/6 in AD18-49):

Building on its lead-in at 9:00 p.m. (+1%/+6%), ABC's "The $100,000 Pyramid" dominated NBC's "Olympic Trials" in the hour by 2.6 million viewers (8.1 million vs. 5.5 million) and 21% in Adults 18-49 (1.7/6 vs. 1.4/4).

  • "The $100,000 Pyramid" drew ABC's biggest summertime (Memorial Day-Labor Day) audience to the time period with regular programming in nearly 12 years - since 8/1/04.

"Match Game" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 6.6 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49):

At 10:00 p.m., ABC's "Match Game" debut won its hour over NBC's "Olympic Trials" in Total Viewers (6.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.5/5).

  • "Match Game" pulled ABC's largest summer audience in the time slot with regular programming in nearly 10 years and tied the highest young adult number in 4 years - since 8/20/06 and 7/15/12, respectively.
