Conductor Albert-George Schram and the Columbus Symphony invite families to celebrate the Fourth of July at the Nationwide Insurance Popcorn Pops' Red, White, and Popcorn! concert on Friday, June 26, at the Columbus Commons. Popcorn Pops blends the fun of the outdoor concert experience with the excitement of a live orchestra performance in this series especially designed for younger children aged 3-12 and their families.

The 2015 Nationwide Insurance Popcorn Pops presents Red, White, and Popcorn! at the Columbus Bicentennial Pavilion in the Columbus Commons (160 S. High St.) on Friday, June 26. Gates open at 5:30pm. Concert begins at 7pm and runs for approximately one hour.

Red, White, and Popcorn! is filled with high-energy, patriotic music that will be familiar to both the young and the young-at-heart, including:

Concert goers are encouraged to bring a blanket and lawn chairs, pack a picnic, and come early for pre-concert activities from 5:30-6:45pm. Activities include bounce houses and inflatable slides, instruments to see and play, crafts, face painting, performances by area string students, and more.

Tickets are $8 for both children and adults and can be purchased by phone at 614.469.0939, online at www.PicnicWithThePops.com or www.ticketmaster.com, or in person at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St.), central Ohio Kroger Ticketmaster locations, or central Ohio Graeter's locations. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate on the night of the show. Children 2 and under are free.
