YA Novel DESTINY Receives Official Selection Honors in the New Apple Indie E-Book Awards

"Destiny" by Jennifer Gibson receives Official Selection Honors in the Young Adult category of the 2015 New Apple Summer eBook Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing.

Book Synopsis
Jessie is determined not to let her hearing loss hold her back. She aims her sights even higher as she ventures in a new direction. With a Black Belt on the horizon, and so close to achieving it, she is unaware of the danger closing in on her. Until one day, everything suddenly changes and she finds herself standing on the precipice of life. Will she be strong enough to hold on or will she succumb to the darkness that surrounds her?

About the Author
Jennifer is an award winning photographer, Illustrator and book cover designer. She is also the published author of her unique trilogy (Sway, Compass and Destiny) featuring a hearing impaired teen.

About the New Apple Book Awards
The New Apple Summer eBook Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing was established to honor the creative achievements of the unsung books fighting for their place within the digital publishing world. Any English language book published within the last three years, currently available for sale by an independent author or small press that met the Awards' guidelines was eligible for entry. One book was chosen in each category as the Medalist Winner receiving the highest honors. In addition, the judges were permitted to choose up to three Official Selections for category distinction.
