"Promise Fulfilled" by Theresa Bryant follows the story of three African American women, who form a sisterhood after meeting in grief support group. Throughout the story, these women face many obstacles and trials as they navigate through infertility, adoption and many other issues.

Bryant has worked in the field of social work for more than 25 years and has drawn on her experiences to help shape her characters and provide depth to the emotional journey that is presented in her novel.
