AURORA, Colo. - William Brinn had wanted a new challenge, and the impetus for his book came from a picture of a woman whom he thought made an appealing character. When the idea of a novel came to him, he developed the story based on this character and some of those past experiences and the result of which is "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished" (published by Xlibris).

Mike Grissom, an easy-going guy rescues Veronica "Ronnie" Lange, a female celebrity from a perilous situation of her own doing, but a communication mix up leads her to believe he is a cheater and a liar. She does a nasty deed for revenge, but then realizes the mistake that she has made. She has to summon the courage to apologize to him, and he has to find the courage to forgive her.

"This book will appeal to adult readers who want believable characters, both likeable and otherwise, in situations that are interesting and credible, and include a strong female character. It concerns friendship and the need for human interaction, courage to face up to personal mistakes, willingness to listen and forgive, and commitment," says the author.

With richly drawn characters that complement a truly interesting storyline "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished" is an entertaining romantic novel that teaches readers about courage, to admit mistakes and to forgive, and what good things that can result.
