Victor Levenstein, a Russian immigrant to the United States who has achieved great publishing and career success in his lifetime, has completed his new book "Thirteen Nasty Little Snakes: The Case of Stalin's 'Assassins'": a revealing expository that tells the author's personal story of arrest and torture for a crime he had not committed against the Soviet Union.

Having been put through unimaginable torment for his alleged criminal activity at the age of twenty-one, Levenstein is not afraid to tell his story and first made it available in Russia. "This book is a revised English version of the book 'Tobacco smoke over the bunks' published in Moscow in 2009 by publishing house (Russki Put)."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Victor Levenstein's important tale details the arrest of thirteen college students who shared a common upbringing, several of them being children of victims of Stalin's purges. The charge was incredulous: a terroristic plot of the assassination of Stalin.

Over the next several years, the young men would suffer physical and psychological torture as a fabricated story was forced upon them as a plot of their own creation. The experience of being interrogated by many typical and terrifying means at the infamous Lubianka State Security Prison are elaborated on as well as the seemingly endless assignment to various prisons and work camps that followed.

Readers who wish to experience this compelling work can purchase "Thirteen Nasty Little Snakes: The Case of Stalin's 'Assassins'" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
