SPRING, Texas - In "Mommy's Coming Home a Little Different" (published by Xlibris) author VeCe Dottie has created a touching and uplifting read that shows how love conquers all, no matter how insurmountable the odds may seem.

This eye-opening children's book is a real story about the author's family. It shows how she came home a little different that year due to a spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed from the waist down. It shows a struggle that was unspeakable and the strength she witnessed her children display that was beyond her imagination. And yet they were fortunate because it brought them closer together and made them into a stronger family.

She also wishes to point out that children are often overlooked when adults experience life changing injuries. Maybe it happens because they are unsure how to approach critical issues with their children but the author wishes to shows parents that it is important to help kids face these problems because it may affect who they are in the future.

The author's main intent is to help other families who have suffered though the same trials and to show them that despite the hardships they are encountering now, it will only make them stronger and bring them closer together with the right approach, love and understanding they can conquer any hardship.
