Tyronna McKinstry was raised very poor in the country. Her education took place in a one-room school until eighth grade. She then spent every other year at different schools. From her humble beginnings, she was able to become the branch manager of a large insurance company then the manager and owner of a large grocery store. She eventually managed to become the landlord of about thirty buildings without a formal business education.

All this success was made possible with the guidance and encouragement of God. "Have Overcome by the Word of my Testimony" is the story of Tyronna McKinstry and her nearly seventy-year relationship with God. From the first time God entered her life at the age of two, God has been Tryonna's leader and best friend. God is a member of her family, which is why she has always embraced such strong family values.
