Yvette Brooks Tyler was born and raised in a rural south area called Bellevue, La.. After graduating from Sunset High School, Tyler went on to receive a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Potsdam University in Potsdam, New York. Tyler currently resides in Church Point, La. with her husband. The couple has been married for 27 years. They have two children Todd Tyler, Jr. and Kelly Tyler and two grandchildren, Karson Kole and Macey. Tyler is a proud military dependent wife (retired).
