Deej Jefferson is an all around well-meaning guy living in the Puget Sound region of Washington. When Deirde arrives in town from Manhattan with her son Jimmy, Deej doesn't realize she has a dark secret and a dangerous past as their paths collide.

In Tim Barney's "Puget Chase" (published by Archway Publishing), the two must dodge kidnappers and murderers in a world of misdeeds and gambling. Luckily, the small Puget Sound community protects their own and bands together to help the pair conquer all that is evil.

Fulfilling a lifelong dream, Barney crafted his debut novel about the area he had fallen in love with: the Pacific Northwest. With short chapters, his story offers readers a fast-paced narrative that focuses on the age-old notion of good triumphing over evil.

Praise for "Puget Chase":
"A compelling action-intensive thriller that examines the idea which mankind ultimately seeks and needsto be seen and understood and for others to take us as we are. This riveting tale highlights the fight between good and evil and the gray area that lies between as Barney's characters struggle for the things that matter most to themfamily, honoring thy self, and love." - Melissa Toomey
