Tesla Owner Nick Howe Releases “Owning Model S”

Howe, an early owner of the Model S, was recently voted author of the all-time best posts by members of Tesla's own internet forum. He was inspired to write the book after several years of communicating with other owners. He noticed an interest about these electric cars that extended well beyond the initial purchase. Suddenly, he found himself sharing ideas back and forth with other Tesla owners about maximizing Model S performance, charging, range, and technology. He realized he had more than just a captive audience, but also a group who'd appreciate reading a book addressing their curiosity and enthusiasm.

Howe also derived inspiration for the book the moment he witnessed Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk, in-person, driving the first beta car on the stage at the Tesla factory in October 2011. Howe purchased his own Model S two years later in January 2013.
