The Pink Room: David Lynch Burlesque's presents TWIN PEAKS BURLESQUE on Friday, March 31st, 2017 at Joe's Pub.

Still hot from the 6th Annual Miss Twin Peaks Pageant this year, it's clear there's a huge demand for more Twin Peaks Burlesque in NYC! The Pink Room is putting on it's biggest Twin Peaks Burlesque show ever at Joe's Pub starting with a screening of "A David Lynch Movie" the short film & music video starring Schaffer the Darklord that has been sizzling in the festival circuit. Producer, Francine "The Lucid Dream" has a cast of fan favorite characters that are sure to entice any Twin Peaks fan including The Log Lady, Audrey Horne, Agent Cooper and so many more! The Pink Room Dreams will set everyone's hearts on fire with their school girl charms and Laura Palmer will be there to remind everyone the importance of public service & volunteerism. Oh did, we mention? A portion of the proceeds will got to help NYC's Meals On Wheels program! Costumes always encouraged!

The Pink Room Burlesque is a tribute to and satire of the works of David Lynch. Since the anniversary of Laura Palmer's death in February of 2011, Francine and The Pink Room cast have covered everything from Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With Me, Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Eraserhead & Inland Empire.

Francine "The Lucid Dream" is a singer, burlesque performer and producer of The Pink Room: David Lynch Burlesque, Francine's Pink Room & Franny's FLICKS. Francine started her career on the stage of the Slipper Room and has since taken New York City by storm performing at numerous venues including Joe's Pub, The Highline Ballroom, (le) Poisson Rouge & Duane Park. She has also performed at festivals around North America: The Dallas Burlesque Festival, The Windy City Burlesque Festival, the Great Boston Burlesque Expo, The Toronto Burlesque Festival & The New York Burlesque Festival. NYC luminaries, Angie Pontani, Brian Newman & Murray Hill have all featured Francine in their shows including Burlesque-a-Pades & Murray Hill's Oscar Show. Francine has had the honor of performing with comedians Colin Quinn & Horatio Sanz and entertaining such notables as Lady Gaga, Donatella Versace, Kate Upton, Joaquin Phoenix & Jeremy Renner!

Named for Public Theater founder Joe Papp, Joe's Pub at The Public opened in 1998 and plays a vital role in The Public's mission of supporting young artists while providing established artists with an intimate space to perform and develop new work. Joe's Pub consistently presents the best in live music and performance nightly, continuing its commitment to diversity, production values, community and artistic freedom. The organization also offers unique opportunities like New York Voices, an artist commissioning program that provides musicians the resources and tools needed to develop new original works. Commissioned artists have included Allen Toussaint, Ethan Lipton, Toshi Reagon, Bridget Everett, and more. In 2011, the Pub received a top-to-bottom renovation, leading to improved sightlines, expanded seating capacity and a new menu from acclaimed Chef Andrew Carmellini. With its intimate atmosphere and superior acoustics, Joe's Pub presents talent from all over the world as part of The Public's programming downtown at its Astor Place home, hosting approximately 800 shows and serving over 100,000 audience members annually.
