MELBOURNE, Australia

Dr. Trevortron was no stranger to loneliness when he was a child, which is why he has endeavored to create "The Lonely King," (published by Xlibris AU) a picture book that espouses the importance of friendship and acceptance.

"The Lonely King" follows the adventure of a lonely young boy who is a king in the playground. Although he has influence and is likeable, he can't seem to find a friend. He soon calls on most of the kids and one by one asks them to be his friend, but sadly they all have an excuse not to be his friend. Will the poor king ever find a true and loyal friend?

This book touches upon the issues of loneliness and the importance of finding a true friend, a friend that will stay by one's side through thick and thin.
