As a Christian, author Karl L. Dahlstrom believes the Scriptures to be true. Despite his lifelong belief in the Bible, he often ran into unbelievers who demanded that he scientifically prove the truth of Scriptures. Thus began his six-year search for answers.

Dahlstrom's research manifests itself in his new biblical book, "The DNA of Scripture" (published by WestBow Press), which was written by C. Phillip Clegg, an entrepreneur with a newfound talent for writing.

With a background in physics, math and education, Dahlstrom believes in science just as much as he believes in Scripture. In "The DNA of Scripture," Dahlstrom applies Benford's Law - the principle that certain percentages of numbers will begin with a set digit within any large set of natural numbers - to Scriptures. In doing so, he says he has revealed the hidden pattern and divine structure of the Holy Scripture, thus proving its authenticity.

"We live in a 'show me' society," Dahlstrom says. "Many people are leaving the Christian church because of the lack of evidence concerning the truth of Scriptures."

Throughout "The DNA of Scripture," Dahlstrom analyzes various passages of the Bible to prove their authenticity. He hopes his book will both silence those who question the validity of Scriptures as well as reinforce the existing beliefs of Christians.
