Author Steve Ziman puts forward a riveting work of fiction laced with intrigue, suspense and deceit. Titled "Response to Mt. Chimborazo," this book revolves around a metro police special response team that takes a search warrant for murder to the highest levels of government including the President of the United States. The ensuing investigation is hampered with political influence and corruption and the protectors of the president will stop at nothing to eliminate traces of criminal involvement or inquiring minds.

In this book, Sgt. Taylor Diamond leads a team of local police responders into a mire of cover-ups, corruption and death. Evidence takes the team on a trail of discovery that does not stop until it metaphorically reaches the farthest point from the center of the earth: the peaks of Mt. Chimborazo. The center of the earth, representing the heart of mankind and their beliefs, wants, needs and dreams could not be any further from the egotistical world leaders that refrain from nothing to gain the power and wealth of the world and keep it. Their arrogant decisions, criminal enterprising and political corruption touches all including Diamond's team and their quest to solve the deaths of his comrades, trail the evidence and stop the corruption, while being pursued by unwitting federal agents and hired assassins.

The concept is a metaphor of everyday people representing all human beings at the center of the planet and their quest to take justice to the highest point of world power, the Ecuadorian mountain of Mt. Chimborazo. In "Response to Mt. Chimborazo," readers will recognize that there is a lot more to governmental representatives then what the media shares.
