As police brutality, gun control, and violence issues are being addressed in American politics today, the increase in the anti-hero genre has climaxed on a contemporary society.

In Stephen Simon King's "Mistaken Identity," a veteran dies of a hemorrhage while in police custody. Fellow vets suspect the arresting officer of foul play because of his quick temper in the past. Throughout the book, readers will read of conspiracies, as well as how people dealt with their revenge on the police.

"I hope that readers will see how two wrongs do not make a right. Crimes are to be solved by proper authorities and we should never rush to judgment," King says.

Along with police brutality and police tunnel vision, "Mistaken Identity," also addresses issues of gun control and crime. This book will take readers on a thrilling journey that correlates to many current events happening.
