Daniel St. Clair reveals how he lost unity with God and then recovered that relationship in his spiritual memoir, "The Primal Contradiction" (published by Archway Publishing). He says the book purposefully doesn't instruct the reader how to change or regain their oneness with God, but instead shows how he was able to do so.

"The book describes the ordeals of one man's life that led to the heartbreaking loss of his unity with the divine," St. Clair says. "He unexpectedly stumbles upon a way of purging the foregoing obstacles from his conscious awareness and successfully recovers his relationship with God, the spiritual friend that never gave up on him."

St. Clair began writing "The Primal Contradiction" after immediately experiencing divine intervention during meditation. He was influenced by 30 years of reading books exploring eastern and western religions, spiritual experience, LSD, transcendental consciousness, meditation and psychology.

An excerpt from "The Primal Contradiction":
I was situated in a continuous orbit, revolving around a universal power, an intelligence that not only had befriended me but also was willing to help me. Its imponderable attraction held me close and reassured me whenever I needed to hear that everything was going to be okay. I gave myself completely to the magical energy of awareness and soon discovered that I began to live without worries.
