Silver Dolphin Books, a publisher of high-quality, novelty and activity-based books for children ages 2 to 12, and Crayola, the world's largest children's art-supply maker, announced today a multi-year North American/Latin American licensing partnership. Given its great success with arts-and-crafts books for children, Silver Dolphin Books is well positioned to develop and publish exciting, original Crayola activity books and kits.

"At Silver Dolphin Books, we are committed to publishing high-quality books full of engaging activities that spark children's imaginations," says Jon I. Rosenberg, Publisher of Silver Dolphin Books. "Our partnership with Crayola further strengthens that commitment-allowing us not only to publish the best content, but to also include some of the most trusted and original children's art supplies available today."

With an objective of encouraging young children to be creative and imaginative, Silver Dolphin's Crayola-branded books will be packed with engaging activities that use Crayola products to provide a fun, educational experience.

"Crayola always has been a trusted go-to source for moms and kids, inspiring creative ideas and providing quality tools that are colorful, fun, and educational. We are very happy to have a committed partner like Silver Dolphin to help create new tutorial content in innovative formats," says Warren Schorr, VP Licensing Crayola.

Silver Dolphin's Crayola books will be available beginning in Fall 2013 with three titles in the Color Workshop series: Drawing, Painting, and Sidewalk Art and Games (estimated MSRP $16.95; 32-page books, spiral-bound, packed with Crayola Art Materials; age range 4-8). Additional books will be published in the fall, including two in the Artist Studio series: Rock Painting and Window Art. All of these fun-filled, activity books will be packaged with Crayola products.
